Frequently Asked Questions
Halal Wine – Your Questions Answered
1. What is “halal wine”?
Halal wine is a non-intoxicating, 0.0% alcohol beverage that mimics the taste and experience of wine, without violating Islamic principles.
2. Is it really halal?
Yes. At Nabeez, we only stock wines that are 100% alcohol-free (0.0% ABV). Intoxication is what makes wine haram — our wines cannot intoxicate.
3. Why don’t all your products have a halal certificate?
Some brands do carry formal halal certification, others do not — but all our wines meet the same halal criteria of 0.0% alcohol and no haram ingredients.
4. Do you allow 0.5% ABV wines?
No. Unlike many “non-alcoholic” brands, we do not stock anything with 0.5% ABV. Only 0.0%.
5. Can I serve this to guests at Islamic events?
Yes. Our wines are alcohol-free, making them suitable for weddings, Eid, baby showers, and more.
6. Is it just grape juice?
No — these are premium beverages crafted like traditional wine, using fermentation then alcohol removal, for a more refined flavour.
7. Is it safe during pregnancy?
Yes. Our wines contain zero alcohol and are a popular choice for expectant mothers seeking something elegant and safe.
8. Why call it “wine” at all?
We use the term to describe the flavour style and drinking experience — not the alcohol content. This helps people discover halal alternatives.
9. What if someone still feels unsure?
That’s okay! We encourage you to do your own research, consult scholars, and only purchase if you feel confident. We’re here to support, not pressure.
10. What is your brand’s halal policy?
Zero alcohol. Zero compromise. Full transparency. We exist to serve the faith-conscious community with dignity and respect.
